An Encounter.

I just touch down from Melbourne with a heavy heart. Before I start to be lazy and forget, I better pen it down.
I want to share this with my readers.

Here goes, ...

In the midst of the breakfast service, I saw this old man kneeling on the floor. He seems to be looking for something.
His wife's ring was missing. I searched high and low, kneeling in my uniform with my bottoms in the sky (imagine the ugly side of me in my uniform). Luckily he is seated in the last row. If not, I think I'll be in YOUTUBE by now.

Both of them was elated when they saw me fishing out a ring in between their seat. I warned the old lady to keep the ring safe before it drops out again and left.

When I was about to walk pass them, the old man stopped me and stuffed a $20 aussie dollar note in my hand. I was very shocked as I thought this scene will only happen in my last job @ Penny/Cavern. I was too stunned to react.

"No thank you, I cannot take your money. It is my job to help you. " -> was what came into my mind and I read aloud accordingly.

Is this the way they express their gratitude?

hmm...

After that, I felt rather sensitive towards his action. Insulted. A slap in my face.

Money can't buy everything. And I don't help him because I want to earn something or get something from him. It is my natural instinct to help people!

What I need is a sincere "Thank You for helping me." I'll be grateful enough.

Hopefully, they'll learn a lesson from here.

Money isn't the best way to show their gratitude.

=)

I've got so much so much so much to write. But so little so little so little so little time.

Tell me how?

Good night for now.
