The day at Sheraton Hotel...
I went there super early... about 8.45am...
The queue reached the stairs when we reached.
Luckily the people are quite fast with their registration... After taking your height and weight, we proceed to the registration counter to get our application form checked.
The Video-Room.
We waited in the room for about 20 mins.
Entertainment before us is the presentation of the life of a cabin crew...
The complaints of a crew : backache, jet lag... ...
i was in group 19...
We were lead to a room...
Round 1...
1st interview, in a group of 10.
I was the 1st speaker!
"Give me a short introduction of yourself."
So, I told them about my background,personality, job experiences and why i want to join the cabin crew.
for about a minute plus...(keep your answer short and sweet... they have already hear it a million times already...)
After that we waited outside the room for the results.
3 out of 10 got in... Jearlyn was in the same group as me..
both of us were the lucky 2...
Next, We have to get our application and IC checked 2nd time.
Round 2...
The kebaya test + skin check...
1st they'll take your height and weight...girls to bun up your hair...
Choose your size for the kebaya and sandal...
There were quite alot of sizes to choose from.
I din do the "SNATCH YOUR SIZE" act...
LOL...
so, i managed to find the smallest and tight fitting one. (remember to wear push-up bra!)
Haa..
the walk...
Walk to the interviewer and back half way and back to her again...
Just walk normally, small elegant steps...
she'll talk to you.. (just to check your teeth... and smile)
The skin check...
2 DUA super BIG! == spotlight will shine on you.. I have 3 interviewer there to scrutinize me ...
I have great skin! so i'm not afraid! hmph!
=X turn your head from left to front to right...
Change out of your kebaya..wait for result...
7 out of 10 from my group got in.
Round 3... 1 to 1 interview..
I think my experience here is different from the rest...
the only thing that is similar is the passage... we have to read a passage - situational based.
The 1 difficult word i encountered was "carousel"...
The guy asked me weird questions which is very unprofessional...keep flipping through my application trying to find things to ask me..
All the other gals get to answer questions from their past experiences and why they wana join that kinda thing.
I think my interviewer trying to test my patience... So, I just play act with him and just smile and answer whatever he ask!
Round 4...
The management round...
2 interviewer...
They ask my question regarding my past experiences,y i wana join, family background and if i think the job is GLAMOROUS... Most impt pointer here is to smile and be humble with your answer... for this round is really depends on your own background... situational question...
Results will be out within 5 mins...
Everything ended about2 pm...
Round 5...
Medical check-up on the next day... If you are a healthy and fit person, tis is confirm pass one..
urine test, x-ray and doc to examine if you got lump in your breast.. (*ahem* will be touched...)
Female doc.. so dun have to worry... =)
Once everything is cleared, you have to attend the briefing which they will check your cert and you IC, passport, bank book... ...
I have to sign the bond with my guarantor on the 11 or 12 mar...
1st training will be held on 14 mar! batch no. 957 !!
